AND PROUD OF IT!!! On that note...I think it is time that I officially announce my latest honor! I am a BRAG scholarship recipient!!!! This is a big deal because I do not feel that there are enough african amricans recognized in the fashion industry...while I appreciate the familiar faces and talent in the industry today I am hoping for more than a "token black designer" in the forefront, because there is so much more talent that deserves recognition...As a BRAG scholar I vowed to make a life long affiliation with the orginization..giving back to the community and the fashion community upon graduation from Parsons... BRAG Mission Statement:

To promote the acceptance and participation of people of color at all levels of retail and related industries by:
